I am a postdoctoral researcher at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, where I work on artificial intelligence applications in the life sciences. I earned my PhD in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Trieste, focusing on the interpretability and applications of Protein Language Models. I have also worked on clinical and genomics data from cancer patients. Prior to that, I completed a master’s degree in Medical Physics, including a one-year clinical residency in Radiotherapy, and worked extensively in radiation protection. My experience spans machine learning and data science, with applications in health, biology, and medical physics.
